OBITUARY.
MR H. C. SMITH. Mr Henry Charles Smith, of 192 Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, passed away at the Palmerston North Hospital on January 13, after residing in this city for nearly 30 years. He leaves two sons, one by his first marriage, William Henry Smith, of Tua Marina, who won the Military Medal for bravery on the field in the War; and Eric Smith, of Waitara, of his second marriage. Air Smith leaves a widow, Airs Florence Vera. Smith.
