THE FINAL RESULT. Received November 23, 10.50 a.m. DARWIN, Nov. 23. The poll has just been declared for the Northern Territory seat in the House of Representatives. Mr H. G. Nelson (Federal Labour), who had held the seat for twelve rears, was defeated by Mr R. A. M. Blair (Independent), the final figures for the whole territory being : B’air 92G Nelson 850 Aboriginals were not entitled to vote, while the member has no vote in Parliament.
