About 10 hours late on her trip from Sydney to Wellington, the Wanganella arrived hero a little before 2 p.m, todaShortly after leaving Sydney she encountered heavy weather, which on Monday reached gale force. The passengers were unable to leave their cabins for a good deal of the time. A deck cabin window on the Starboard side amidships was smashed during the gale. _____
