M. HERRIOT’S CONVICTION.

M. Herriot, the former Premier of France, interviewed by the Pravda during his visit here, said: lam convinced that the peoples of France and Russia are able to save the world from the barbarity of a fresh war. He added that he favoured political, scientific, and intellectual collaboration between France and the Soviet, whose rapprochement had benefited both peoples and tended to preserve European peace. He congratulated the Russians on celebrating the 17th anniversary of the October revolution.
