VERDICT AT INQUEST.

CORONER’S REMARKS.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Nov. 3.

At the'inquest on William Hopkins David, aged 64, a relief worker, who was found dead on Thursday, the evidence showed that deceased was very much attached to his wife, who had been ill for four years and died on Thursday. The Coroner, in returning a verdict of suicide while deceased was acutely depressed, said it was a distressing case. No doubt his wife s death had preyed on the husband’s mind.
