PAT LAMB INDUSTRY.

A fine line of about 220 fat lambs went forward from the Rongotea district last week and netted their owner the good price of 22s 6d per head. They averaged 301bs per head and the price paid was 9d per lb. It is expected that drafting will begin in earnest in the Feilding district within a few days; the lambs in the main being reported to be about three weeks behind last year.
