MID-WEEK CRICKET
FEILDING BEAT SERVICES. Making their entry into the local mid-week cricket competitions yesterday, Feilding were at home to Combined Services. The honours were with the home eleven, Jack of time preventing their forcing a four-point win. Services had first use of the wicket, but found the attack of Bramwell and Packer too strong tor them and were dismissed for 78, to which Feilding replied with 138, Bramwell and Packer again playing prominent roles. At their second visit, Services again failed, returning a total of 69, which left the home team 10 runs to make to gain a four-point win.
