BAND CONCERT.
The Feilding Municipal Band lias been fortunate in completing arrangements for a visit from the Wanganui Garrison Band on Sunday next. This band held the Australian and New Zealand championship and has an unbeaten contest record, having won no less than 28. firsts during the last 30 years. Assisted by the local band an open air- concert will be given at Johnston Park in the afternoon and in the evening a concert will be held in the Majestic Theatre. Here the programme will be given entirely by the Garrison Band and visiting artists, including the famous Bridges Trio who come with a reputation of the highest order. Incidentally this is to be their final appearance before leaving for a tour of Australia. The well-known bass singer, Mr S L. Kendall, is also one of the party and patrons can thus be assured of a really first-class programme. The admission in each case will be by silver coin as usual, the proceeds being devoted to the funds of the two bands.
