PRISONERS SENTENCED.

Per Press Association. NAPIER, Nov. 1. Prisoners sentenced to-day by Mr Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court were; —Olive Muriel Goodwin, aged 42, seven charges of false pretences and two of theft, to one year’s hard labour, to be concurrent with a present term; for serious offences, Waaka Puma 40, received six months’ hard labour and Paul Golding Choate, aged 20 three years’ hard labour; Joseph Lewis, on two charges of forgery and uttering received two years’ reformative detention.
