THE NEW ITALY

"DISPLAY BY ATHLETES. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received October 29, 1.30 p-m. ROME, Oct. 28. Fifteen thousand sportsmen and athletes, from golfers to polo players, paraded in Rome to mark the twelfth Fascist anniversary. . Signor Mussolini declared that the march past gave a profound impression of the new Italy. Athletes and sportsmen had a duty above all others to show tenacity and chivalry. Another celebration took the form of a prize-giving for the 70 best farmers from the 70 provinces, each representing a family who had cultivated the same holding for at least a century.
