ODDFELLOWS LODGE, M.U., 1.0.0. F.
The Loyal Manaivatu Lodge held its usual fortnightly meeting on Thursday, N.G. Bro. Freeman presiding. There was a good attendance of members. Bro. Farrer reported on a ritual competition held in the Hawke’s Bay district and Bro. Freeman reported on the bowls tournament held on Labour Day. District Grand Master Bro. Fowler sent word of his intention to be present at the anniversary dance. Final arrangements were made for a visit to Foxton Lodge next Tuesday. The meeting closed at 9.45, when supper was supplied and bowls and dancing were indulged in.
