The license was refused, said the acting chairman, as the Authority was quite satisfied that there were sufficient lorries already licensed, particularly to carry live stock. “If it is found necessary at any future time to increase the available carrying capacity for fat lambs and the application is again put before us it will possibly receive favourable consideration,” he added.
