NO. 6 AUTHORITY SITTING. The sitting of the No. 6 Transport Licensing Authority was continued at Palmerston North yesterday afternoon and concluded this morning before Messrs D. I. Armstrong and S. Jickell. The chairman (Aft- G. A. Troup) was absent owing to illness. Referred back by the Transport Coordination Board for effect to be given to its decision on a successful appeal, an application for a goods license by A. G. Halford, of Dannevirke, for whom Mr T. H. Lloyd appeared, was automatically granted. Amendments to a goods license held by A. L. Bonne, of Dannevirke, for whom Mr A. W. Yortt appeared, were approved.
