STEPS FOR PRESERVATION. CONSERVATIVES’ AIM. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received September iJO, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 19. The dangers of dictatorships will be discussed at the Conservative Party Conference on October 4. The report of the central council claims that the strife and bloodshed of foreign dictatorships throw into vivid prominence the peaceful restoration of Britain’s fortunes and constitute the greatest tribute to the British system of constitutional government. The conference will consider a motion . suggesting the formation of a league tor preserving the Constitution from a dictatorship. Viscount Wolmer is tabling a resolution asking the Government to immediately reform the House of Lords in order to rescue the Constitution' from its present dangerous position.
