FACTORY MANAGERS’ BOARD. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 3. The Gazette to-night announces the appointment of the Dairy Factory Managers’ Registration Board as follows: Messrs P. C. H. Petersen (chairman) and J. Murray (on the recommendation of the Dairy'Factory Managers’ Association), C. P. Algar and T. A. Winks (on the recommendation of the Dairy Produce Control Board), W. Bagrie (on the recommendation of the Otago and Southland Cheese Factory Managers’ Union), Professor W. Riddet (on the recommendation of Massey Agricultural College Council), and Messrs W. M. Singleton and W. E. Gwillim (as members of the staff of the Department of Agriculture). THE ROYAL COMMISSION. TARANAKI SITTINGS URGED. Per Press Association. HAWERA, May 3. The South Taranaki provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union passed a resolution that the Royal Commission inquiry into the problems of the dairy industry should hold sittings and take evidence in Taranaki, the most concentrated dairying district in the Dominion.
