DR D. E. FENWICK.
DEATH IN WELLINGTON: Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 4. The death occurred suddenly to-day of Dr. D. Eardley Fenwick, 0.8. E. ' Dr. Fenwick was born at Dunedin in 1887, a soil of the late Sir George Fenwick. After attending the Otago University he went to the Middlesex Hospital and gained M.R.C.P. He served throughout the war in the R.A.M.C. and N.Z.M.C., being a Lieu-tenant-Colonel, and was consulting physician to the New Zealand Forces and the Trentham Hospital, being also officer commanding the Queen Mary Hospital for Nervous Diseases. Dr. Fenwick was a member of _ the Royal Commission on Tuberculosis in New Zealand in 1928 and in 1930-31 was chairman of the Dominion branch of the B.M.A. At the time of his death he was honorary physician to the AYellington Hospital. In his youth Dr. Fenwick was a keen footballer and was in the New Zealand University team to Sydney.
