During the week-end a friendly tennis match was contested between teams representing Komako and Mount Richards, ilie match was played on Mr F. Grotnan s court at Komako, under ideal weather conditions, and resulted in awm for the Komako team, by 10 sets to 6, and 11 games to 59. Scores were as follow, Komako names mentioned first. .Ladies singles: Miss Collins beat Miss E. Wingate, 6—2; Mrs G. Arbon lost to Miss A. Roberts, o—6; Mrs Coombs lost to Miss E. K Wingate, 2—6; Mrs McLean lost to Miss M. Wingate, 3-6. Mens singles: W. Coombs beat F. Roberts, 6—5; J. Ross beat A. Roberts, 6—4; G. Arbon. beat L. Pawson 6—3; C. D. White beat J. Wingate, 6—2 Ladies’ doubles: Mrs Coombs and Miss Collins beat Misses E. and E. K. Wingate, 6—l; Mesdames Arbon and McLean lost to Misses A. Roberts and M. Wingate 5—6. Men s doubles: W. Coombs and J. Ross lost to F. and A. Roberts, 36* W. Scrymgeour and G. Arbon beat L. Pawson and J. Wingate, 6-1. Mixed doubles: W. Coombs and Miss Collins lest to F Roberts and Miss E. Wingate, 4—6; Ross and Mrs Coombs beat A Roberts and Miss E. K. Wingate, 6-1; Arbon and Mrs Arbon beat Pawson and Miss A. Roberts 6—2- D. Rutherfurd and Mrs McLean beat Wingate and Miss M.
