LADIES’ ANNUAL MATCH. Selection of the team to represent The Best in the ladies’ annual match with the Palmerston North Club tomorrow afternoon' has now been finalised by Mr H. N. Watson, and two strong teams are available. Miss Swainson, the leading lady player for the Pahiatua Club, has sprained her ankle, and will not he available. The Rest will b e represented by Airs Thompson, Miss Calver, Miss Kerr (Levin), Miss M. Rutherford, Miss Burke (Feilding), Miss Graham (Pahiatua), Mrs Heald (Takaro), Miss; Worrall (Manawatu), Miss Walker (Bulls), Miss Kirk (Northern). Mrs Beattie and Miss N. Astle are now available to play for the Palmerston North Club ladies, whose team will be Miss Astle, Mrs Anderson, Mrs Beattie, Mrs Loveday. Miss A. Heard, Mrs New, Miss M. McColl, Miss Hume, Miss Mcßae and Mrs C. Yates.
