FOXTON, May 17. Tho latest figures submitted by Mr W. R McKenzio to laet night’s meeting of the Unemployment Committee Bhow Foxton unemployment registrations to be on the increase. This is partly duo to a number of youths who havo just come of ago and registered as unemployed and partly to tho influx of outsidere. Mr R. H. Frow, of Ravensworth Placo, met with a painful accident while engaged in transport work on Saturday. He was engaged in loading steel drums of benzine when he slipped on the floor of tho lorry and his right hand went between two 4cwt weight drums as they came together. One finger was broken and another badly crushed, but despite his injury Mr Frow 'brought his lorry back to FoxtoAn enjoyable bogey competition for men was played on the Golf links on Saturday, the winner being B. Garin who returned a card of 1 up.
