PAHIATUA, May 16.

Mrs H. Skcet, who has boen staying with her mother, Mrs W. S. Algie, for five weeks h«* returned to Mastorton. Mr and Mrs Lyall Bryant, of Ohariu, were the guests last week of Mr and Mrs F V. Bryant, Ruawhata. Mr E. P. Badger is about again after having sustained a broken rib through a fall on tho golf links recently. Saturday’s Rugby matches resulted : Senior: Hamua 6 v. IConini 5; Mangatainoka 20 v. Nircaha 9. : Newman 3 v. Kaiparoro 0; Hukanui 11 v. of 17 mon from the Pahiatua Golf Club journeyed to Eketahuna during the week-end in quest of the- Gregorio Cup. The first twolvo only peted for the cup but were unsuccessful. Eketahuna won by 8 games to 4. Of the total of 17 games played Eketahuna won 9 pahiatua 7, and 1 was drawn.
