VALUE OF WIRELESS.
Received April 20, 12.45 p.m. LONDON, April 19. Scotland Yard is experimenting with a two-valve receiving set, which will be carried in the pockets of all policemen on their beats. The set will enable police headquarters or a police radio van to keep up communication with any constable on duty and notify him of grab raids and other emergencies. . The present tests follow extensive, trials of miniature wireless receivers by Brighton policemen while on duty.
