BURMAN REBELS.

Received April 20, 10.20 a.m. CALCUTTA, April 19. For participating in the recent rebellion, two Burmans were sentenced to death, 40 to life transportation, and two to five years’ hard labour each, by a special tribunal at Prome. Isolated gangs of rebels continue to terrorise the villages in several districts in Burma.
