GARRISON BAND.

The “Standard” was informed today that Mr G. Bergersen, of the Que<-tn Alexandra Baaid, Wanganui, who was approached by the Palmerston North Garrison Band in connection with the vacant position of conductor, finds that he cannot accept the terms of the local offer and has returned to Wanganui. Mr Bergersen is solo cornet player for his band.
