MOTOR COLLISION.
MISHAP AT OPOTIKI. WOMEN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL. Per Press Association. OPOTIKI, Oct. 27. A motor accident occurred here today when a car conveying Mr F. Walsh, his wife and a daughter of Onehunga, collided with a car driven by Mr H. Collier, of Kutarere, near the Kukumoa Hill. ' Mr Walsh’s car was thrown into a drain with five feet of. water. Mrs Walsh suffered a badly-cut eye and concussion, and Miss Walsh a badly-cut head. Both were taken to hospital. Four passengers in the other car. and Mr Walsh, are suffering from shock and bruises. Both cars were extensively damaged.
