The New Zealand apples shipped by the Somerset, Tongariro, Muhana and Port Hobart realised the following prices; Jonathans, Delicious 10s to 13s; Stunners, Lord Wolseleys, 10s to 11s; Doughertys, 12s 6d to 14s; Romes, 10s to 12s; Statesman, 12s to 13s; Scarlet Nonpariels, 10s to 12s; Cleopatras, lls to 13s.

Recent arrivals of New Zealand choice pears were badly bruised and box marked, owing to the trays being too shallow, causing buyers to reject them.
