NAVAL CONSTRUCTION.
AMERICAN BILL INTRODUCED. “NECESSARY FOR PARITY AVITH BRITAIN.” Received May 10, 11.10 a.m. WASHINGTON, May 9. Mr Britten, chairman of the Naval Committee of the House of Representatives, to-day introduced a bill for 936,995,000 dollars for warship construction . Mr Britten holds that this is necessary for United States parity with Britain under the London Treaty.
