TROUBLE AT TAIHAPE HOSPITAL. Per Pres 3 Association. YVANGANUI, April 17. As a result of a dispute at the Taihape Public Hospital, three doctors who have private practices threatened to resign unless the matron vacated her position. The YVanganui Hospital Board inquired into the position and decided that the* matron should stay. At the meeting of the board yester,day, ft was mentioned that “two. of the doctors up there have institutions of their own, and they put financial patients into their own home and not in the public hospital.” A resolution was carried to the effect that the doctois be informed that the YVanganui Hospital Board could not see ltß wav lo ask the matron of the Tnihape Hospital to resign,- and that they be asked to reconsider their resignations
