WELCOME TO PIPER AND KAY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 15. A civic reception was accorded to Flying Officers Piper and Kay tonight. There was great enthusiasm. Responding, Mr Kay said that he did not expect to have a welcome'anything like that given them. All honour was duo to Mr F. C. Chichester, who was the first New Zealander to get across. Mr Piper thanked the Mayor and, citizens for their great welcome, also the Aero Club for their hearty invitation. “That’s all I can say,” he concluded amid laughter and applause.
