TOUR BY MINISTER.
RIVER BOARD AREA. The Minister of Public Works (Hon. Jfi. A. Ransom) will make a comprehensive tour of the lower end of the Manawatu district to-morro.v. He will be met by the members of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board at Foxton and will subsequently visit the Moutoa and Makerua areas beforeprooeeding to inspect the erosion at Hamilton’s Bine. Matters in connection with the modified scheme of flood control will be discussed with the Minister. «
