Three were killed in an extraordinary accident to-day. A ’plane became entangled in a high tension wire at tho Yysilanti Airport, in Michigan, and burst into flames. Mr Levi Keppler, a passenger, was electrocuted. Mr Harry Walters, the manager of the airport," on witnessing the accident ran to the rescue with'a chemical fire extinguisher. Ho turned it on the blaze, but the strong current from the high tension wire followed the stream back to Mr Walters, killing him instantly. Mr John Corby rushed forward and tried to rescue Mr Walters, but he was electrocuted when he. touched the body of. the pilot. T)ne other passenger in the ’plane was not hurt.
