At the monthly meeting of tho executive of the Palmerston North branch of the United P-arty a report was received from headquarters regarding the party’s activities throughout the Dominion, which stated that the supporters of the party were still united and much stronger in numbers than in 1928. A resume of the legislation passed by the general assembly during the sessions ended on December 19, 1928, and November 11, 1929, respectively, was submitted to the meeting, which, after a full discussion, expressed its approval and appreciation of the Acts that had been passed, giving effect to tho policy of the Government, particularly in connection with their land settlement schemes.
