/From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, April 11. Tho report of the School Committee to be presented at the annual meeting of householders’ is as follows: The year financially has been very good, the balance-sheet showing a credit balance of £3O, especially as you will notice we have spent a fair amount in maintenance and improvements. Mr Patience, headmaster, took over his duties in May, 1929, and he and his staff have shown good results as set out in the inspector’s reports. Arbor Day was again celebrated during the year when the replacing of shrubs took place. The school concert was hold on 13th December and was in every way a success, and our thanks are due to all those who rendered assistance, especially Mrs Patience and Mrs Peterson. We also held our school treat beforo the holidays on tho recreation ground , which was a successful gathering. Apart from the prizes every child received an award book. As in past years tho school excursion took place at Pliinmerton in . February with other schools and a molt enjoyable end pleasant outing rosultod. This year there was a larger attendance than in the past and wo wi*h to thnnk those who rendered assistance on tho day. I am pleasod to say, continues tho chairman, that tho arrangements for tho children to attend the dental clinlo at Fellding has proved saetisfaetory, Tho school ground la all in good order and the committee wish to thank the headmaster and staff who, with the fu/sisfanea of the scholars, are keeping the gardens and lawns in geod order, The committee desire# to place pn reoord their pinparo appreciation pf the efforts of the teaphers, parents and pilfers whq have helped in any way to make the past year (lie success it ha# beey.
