’PLANES CRASH.

PASSENGER’S FATAL INJURIES

Received March 30, 10.15 a.m. ADELAIDE, March 30.

An aeroplane piloted by Mr ID. Brown crashed at Victor Harbour to-day. Mr Brown was taking holidaymakers for a flight at the time. L. Leane, a passenger; died in hospital as the result of the injuries he received, and the pilot escaped with a broken collarbone. The crash occurred after the ’plane had looped the loop. MACHINE WRECKED.

(Australian Press Association.) MADRID, March 28. A message from Barcelona states that while attempting a flight from Belgium to the Belgian Congo, the aviator Van der Yelde crashed on the coast. The machine was wrecked and the pilot and mechanic seriously injured.
