The return .of Sir Arthur Duckham from Australia —Sir Arthur was one of the “Big Four” economic mission which recently toured in the States of the Commonwealth —cabled reports and the meeting of the Development of Migration Committee have brought the question of assisted migration to the front. Commissioner David C. Lamb stated to-day that the Salvation Army had already transferred 200,000 to the Dominions, and the failures were not one per cent.
