Broadmoor covered a mile in 1.49, Lucky Light doing it in 1.48 3-5. Philippic occupied 1.34 for an easy seven furlongs. Roscrea, Prickles and Full Feather ran nine furlongs. Roscrea beat Prickles by a length and a-half, with Full Feather five lengths away. Tho time was 1.58 2-s—a smart gallop. Commendation registered 1.31 for seven furlongs. Silver Paper was better than Starshooter over a mile in 1.47 2-5. Noteworthy led Silver Coot over a six furlongs spin in 1.10 2-5. Star Stranger took tho lead early, followed by Rapier and Battle Colours, with Beacon Light last. Star Stranger beat Rapier- by two lengths, Battlo Colours being four lengths away, with Beacon Light six lengths further back. Star Stranger’s time was 2.12 Golden Aimour covered six furlongs comfortably in 1.18 3-5. Pink Nate, Hoylako and Shining Armour were to have gone a mile and a-quar-ter together, but Hoylake was in a piggish mood and refused jump, off, the other pair going without him. Pink Noto always held tho advantage and finished an easy winner by throe lengths in 2.15. King Midas moved freely over a useful half mile. Hoylake, after giving trouble, eventually lvcnt off alone for a mile and a-quarter. Ho showed tempor in the early stages, but did tho full distance in 2.10 3-5. Ho finished on strongly. It was the best galof tho morning, tho last milo being particularly good. . * Alalmsey took 52 2-ssccs for half a milo. Consent and Bright Glow were together all through a six furlongs spin in 1.17 1-5. Rotor, with Louise for a mate over the last half mile, covered a mile and a-half in 2.40 2-5.

Imarosebub beat Honeycomb over seven furlongs in 1.33. Aspiring and Gold Tinge registered the festest half milo *of tho morning, running home in 48 2-4 secs. Aspiring was in front. Honour beat Jaleux in a sprint down the straight. Amor occupied 1.35 for seven furlongs. Mandano covered a mile and a-quarter in 2.12 2-5. Front Rank and Teri were evenly matched in a mil© in 1.44 3-5. Money Order, with a light weight, ran six furlongs in 1.16 2-5. Laughing Prince a'nd Cashier kept close company all through a mile gallop which they ran in 1.44 4-5.
