The London Police Court made a maintenance order in favour of Mrs Emily Alary Dunne, of Clapton, for £l3 10s per week for lierseli and 10s per week for her son, aged fifteen, against her husband, Michael Dunne, of Auckland, Mew Zealand. Evidence was given to the effect that the parties were married in 1809. Dunne went to West Africa in 1920. Claimant's son was living in Cornwall and met a New Zealander, through whom ho ascertained that Dunne was employed at Auckland in the Public Works Department. Dunne’s former employers told the wife that he earned sufficient in West Africa to enable him to retire.
The Court’s order will bo sent to New Zealand for confirmation or variation after Dunne has made a statement.
