M. Lotti, tho son of the proprietor of an hotel, took off this morning for the Azores, subsequently continuing a route according to the weather. He is actually the financier of the flight.
M. Lotti masqueraded under the name of Levy so as to deceive his father, who regards the flight as suicidal and employed private detectives to watch his son’s movements.
It transpires that lie entered the ’plane at night time and slept oil the floor of the cabin. Detectives watching were relieved at not -seeing him attempting to enter. When the ’plane was rising Lotti appeared and waved his cap to the astonished detectives.
