SUCCESSFUL DANCE.

In connection with tho Y.AV.C.A. queen carnival, a dance was held in the Railway Hall on Monday evening to further tho candidature of Miss AVebb, the sports queen. About 80 couples were present, and an enjoyable time was spent by all. Mr V. Regan was M.C. Fancy dress costume awards were made as follow: —Prettiest fancy dress, Miss K. McKenzie, * Hawaiian Girl” ; best pair, Misses Freeman, “Frolic” ; best boy, Master T. AVebb, “Swagger.” A lucky spot dance was won by Miss Regan and Mr Grant.
