LITHUANIAN COMPLAINT.
ALLEGED PERSECUTION,
Received October 18, 9.30. a.m. KOVNO, Oct. 17. Lithuania has lodged a complaint with the League Council alleging Polish persecutions of Lithuanians in the Vilna region with the object of destroying Lithuanian independence. Lithuania requests discussion of the matter at the council’s next meeting.—A. and N.Z. cable.
