SCHOOLBOY’S DEATH.

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 7. Clifford Bere,' - a schoolboy, aged 10, was playing in a claypit adjacent to a brick kiln at St. Martin’s to-day when a fall of clay from a bank came down on him. It is uncertain whether the fall killed him outright or whether he was suffocated. The boy was dead when the clay was removed sufficiently to recover the body.
