LADIES’ HOCKEY
NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT.
SECTIONAL DRAW.
The largest ladies’ hockey tournament yet held in Now’ Zealand will commence on the Sportsground, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, August 31. There will be eighteen teams competing for Dominion honours so the programme is necessarily lengthy, including five days of sectional play at least two of post-sectional play, and on tho Saturday the Millie Cup competition and the North v. Semi-finals or, if necessary, any replays in sectional play, at 2.30 p.m. THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8.
The final or, in event of any replays in the sectional play, semi-finals. If necessary the final will be played on FTiday. Should a South Island team he in the final it will be played at 10.30 a.m., otherwise at 2.30 p.m.
