At the show we have on exhibit a one-ton clump, platform top and a chassis bare. For price and performance the Chevrolet, stands alone. Messrs Gibson and Miller, showmen, at present in Palmerston North, after trying out many makes have decided on Chevrolet, and bj placing an order for three one-ton chassis, they now have four Chevrolet trucks and one car. Any business which necessitates the purchase of trucks must give consideration to_the Chevrolet, which has proved its worth to many hundreds of New Zealand owners. THE NEW ZEALAND CUTLERS CO. AUCKLAND. Another secondary industry for New Zealand, the Cutlers Co., started operations in Auckland last December under the supervision of Mr E. Goddard, a Sheffield hand forgers. Mr Goddard aomes of a family of hand forgers, his last job, before leaving England, was to forge six gross of knives for Windsor Castle. With Mr Goddard is associated Mr H. W. Smith, a colonial grinder. Sheffield made her name by hand-forged knives, the trade is now lost to the Empire by the adoption of machine-made or drop-forged knives and by the use of stainless steel. Before the war there were 350 hand forgers in Sheffield. There are now three. Cutlers Co. goods are all hand-forged and guaranteed. Knives are made from the finest steel procurable.
