CAR DRIVER CHARGED. ■ Per Press Association. NELSON, April 23. At the adjourned inquest into the death of Yolande Murphy, a married woman aged 19,' who died as the result of, injuries sustained through being knocked down near Motueka by a motor car driven, by Ecfward Carl Smith, a verdict was returned that death was due to negligent driving. Smith was subsequently charged under the Motor Vehjcles’ Act with negligent driving and was committed for trial, bail being allowed.
