SIX AIONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Feb. 5. For theft of a gold chain and pendant, a silver mounted flask and a goldmounted fountain pen, of a total value of £l6 os, George Fuller Quinn, a clerk, aged 40, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment to-day by Air Salmon, S.AI. The articles were the property of Joseph Geo. Grant, with whom accused shared a room in a boardinghouse. The chief detective said that accused had previously served six months for theft? and various terms for defaulting on a maintenance order.
