AUCKLAND SENTENCES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 5. At the Supreme Court to-day Benjamin Addington Boston was admitted to probation for two years on four charges of theft from his employer, conditional on restitution to the extent of £3B. Clifton Webb Verran was admitted to probation for two years, accused having made complete restitution. William Robert Curson was found guilty as accessor to the theft of £8 and was admitted to two years’ probation, conditional in that he obtains a prohibition order. WELLINGTON SENTENCES. WELLINGTON, Feb. 5. The following prisoners were sentenced by Sir Charles P. Skerrett in the Supreme Court to-day: Edward May, Erie Jones and Albert James Olsen, for receiving stolen silk, three years’ hard labour; Raymond Neil Ward, for false pretences, two years’ probation and ordered to pay costs amounting to £l3 12s. James AValter Houston, for forgery and uttering and false pretences, two years’ probation and order to pay costs amounting to £8 4s and to make restitution within twelve months. James Junk, a labourer, aged 59, for an indecent act, received twelve months’ hard labour.
