STRIKE NOTICE GIVEN.
AUSTRALIAN COLLIER'S DECISION. SYDNEY, April 8. The colliery engine-drivers and firemen, at an aggregate meeting at Bulli, unanimously decided to give the colliery owners fourteen days’ notice ot their intention to cease work from Monday next until their clanns aro granted. This brings all the coalfields into line, and unless a settlement ot the dispute is reached by the time the fourteen days’ notice expires, the coalmines throughout Australia will be rendered idle. —Press Association.
