SOCCER TOURNAMENT.

SEATOUN (4) v. RANGERS (0)

In the replay of the match Seatoun (Wellington) versus Rangers (Palmerston North) in the Association football tournament the former team decisively defeated tho local eleven, after a disappointing game. . Rangers won the toss, and sent the visitors to play against a light breeze. Shortly after tho commencement of play Condon scored for Wellington, in a scramble at the goal mouth. After some fast play, slightly in favour of tho local men, Seatoun carried the play to their opponents area, and Clark tapped the ball into the net, while tho goalie was recovering his feet after a previous shot. The first spell ended with Seatoun leading by 2 goals to nil. In the second spell Rangers kicked off, and were soon on tho defensive, Seatoun pressed hard and Condon again scored. Up and down play followed, Rangers narowly missing the net on several occasions, until at last Clark beat tho local goalie with a field shot. Time sounded with- the score: Seatoun, (4); Rangers, 0. Mr H. Crouch refereed.

Seatoun will thus play Athletic in the final match for the Competition Cup.
