NATIONALIST MOVEMENT’.

(By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.? Received January. 21, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. The Times’s Haifa correspondent says that tho end of France’s Syrian troubles has not yot been sighted. The widespread and deep-rooted character of the Nationalist movement is evidenced by tho successive failures of tho French efforts to separate tho Druses from the Moslems. Tho dominant military leaders of tho revolt are now Yehya Hayati and Mohammed Ismail. Tho latter, who is a graduate of a military school in Germany, was chief of staff to Aliriza ■ Pasha, who occupied Lebanon during ! the war. Hayati declares that tho revolt is 1 still in its infancy. He is now training 1 12,000 Druses, who will bo ready to take tho field in the spring.—Times.
