GERMAN CABINET.
AGREEMENT ARRIVED AT
BERLIN, Jan. 19. President Hindenburg, with a view to helping Dr. Luther in Cabinetmaking, received tho leaders of the various parties and tokl, them a Government must bo formed. The situation would bo most serious if Dr. Luther failed. Subsequently all parties conferred with Dr. Luther, and all agreed to his proposed Cabinet, which is as cabled on January 17, and with Dr. Kuelz as Minister of the Interior.—Reuter.
Tho personnel of tho Cabinet as cabled on tho above mentioned date is as follows:—Dr. Luther, Chancellor; Dr. Stresemann, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Herr Gessler, Minister of Defence; Herr Brauns, Minister of Labour; and two other members of tho present Cabinet; also tho ox-Chancellor, Dr. Marx, as Minister of Justice and Occupied Territories; M. Reimbold, Minister of Finance. The parties represented in tho Cabinet include the Democrats, Centre Party, the German People’s Party, and the Bavarian People’s Party.
