FEAR OF BLINDNESS, Per Press Association. . AUCKLAND, Dec. 29-. At the inquest on Frank Percy, a middle-aged man who was found dead in a boardinghouse, a note written by deceased was read. It stated that his sole reason for suicide was that he was getting blind. He had completely lost the sight of one eye. A specialist confirmed his own suspicion that blindness would shortly be his fate, and he could not face this. The letter was dated from Dargaville. Tho Coroner found a verdict of suicide by poisoning.
